PURPOSE:To analyze volatile matters in fuel continuously with good performance and accuracy by applying radiation heat to fuel samples in an inert gaseous atmosphere in the preliminary chamber of a heating furnace then generating the volatile matters in a heating chamber and weighing the fuels after cooling the same in the preliminary chamber. CONSTITUTION:An inert gas is introduced through inert gas introducing ports 7, 10 into a preliminary chamber 2 and a heating chamber 3, and the chamber 3 is heated to 900 deg.C. In this state, plural ceramic crucibles contg. weighed fuel samples are loaded through an inserting port 5 into the chamber 2. A middle door 4 is lifted and after the samples are irradiated for a specified time by the radiation heat from the chamber 3, the samples are charged into the chamber 3, and the middle door 4 is closed to heat the samples. Then volatile matters are generated from the samples and released through a gas releasing port 9. Tar or soot is oxidized by copper oxide 8. Thereafter, the crucible stand is drawn out into the chamber 2 and after the same is cooled there, the stand is drawn out through the port 5 to the outside and is cooled down to a room temp.; thereafter, the samples are weighed and the volatile matters are analyzed. |
