PURPOSE:To improve the reduced friction and the abrasion resistance of a bearing material, by specifying an aromatic polyester for a homopolymer type and lead powders for atomized powders, and making these coexisted. CONSTITUTION:A bearing material comprises, in volume percentage, 10-72% homopolymer type aromatic polyester and 1-21% atomized lead as essential ingredients, 0.5-5% hard addition-agent as an optional ingredient, as a solid lubricant, and polyethylene tetrafluoride as the rest. The polyethylene tetrafluoride and the atomized lead work mutually to improve the friction characteristic, and the homopolymer type aromatic polyester prepares the condition making the friction characteristic improving action exhibit owing to the polyethylene tetrafluoride and the atomized lead, and supports the load applied from a mate member to the bearing. |
