PURPOSE:To prevent a fold of a film and generate a convection from the pulley side toward outside the film to stabilize a cleaning of holes in the film and an ink filling therein, by a method wherein a pulley is composed of a plurality of vanes disposed at some angles to the center of rotation. CONSTITUTION:Ink intake ports 8c are provided on a disc 8a and vanes 8b are twistedly disposed at some angles to an axis of rotation of a pulley. A film 2 is fed into an ink tank 6 by rotation of a capstan 3 driven by a motor unit 5, thus wound round an approximately half circumference of a roller 8 to rotate the roller 8. At this time, the ink supplied from the ink intake ports 8c is discharged in the peripheral direction of the roller 8 by the vanes 8b. This ink flow passes through holes in the film 2 wound round the roller 8, thus acting so as to push out a dust and ink residue adhered in the holes and then fill the holes with a new ink. Selective heating of a thermal head 1 allows the ink to fly due to bubble pressure to conduct printing on a recording paper disposed opposedly to the thermal head 1 and the film 2. |
