Process for cleaning flue gases

The process for cleaning flue gases by separators, in which, apart from separating from particles, toxic gases are bound and separated out by addition of additives to the flue gas, is that the additives, before addition to the flue gas, are cooled down to below the dew point temperature of water. The particles to be ejected from the separator can be returned to the flue gas upstream of the separator, together with partly unused additives in circulation after cooling down to below the dew point temperature of water and a quantity of particles produced in the separator is removed from the circulation, which quantity corresponds to the amount of new additives fed in.
