This overload limiter is constituted by a support 2 which can be fastened to the reinforcement member 14 by a drum 3 which, mounted so as to rotate freely about an axis transverse to the direction of the conductor, is associated with means 24 for anchoring the conductor, and by a torsion bar 7 which is coaxial with the axis of rotation of the drum and one of the ends 7a of which is integral with the support, whereas the other end 7b is integral with the drum 3, and capable, from a value of the overload, of twisting in order to allow the rotation of this drum 3 in the direction of a reduction in the overload. <IMAGE>
