The subject of the invention relates to a disinfecting device for a toilet seat. It consists in incorporating, on the internal face of the flap (lid), a ring 5 which is perforated with spraying micro-orifices oriented on the axis of the periphery of the seat, combined with an atomiser 9 connected by a flexible pipe 8 to the spraying device and containing a disinfecting product for dry cleaning of the contact surface of the seat. It is intended for dry disinfection of the seat and consequently the bowl, as well as for deodorising the whole unit. <IMAGE>
