<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to produce easily swelling foodstuffs having a proper composition, preventing the contents from swell over, by giving a bending strength in a specific range to a juncture of a lie with the side of a container. CONSTITUTION:A container having a lid is formed by expanding a lid part 3, with an upper opening 4 being united with a side part 2, wherein the bending strength between the side and the lid part of the container is designed to fall within a range of 0.5-2kg when measured with a rheometer at a speed of 2cm/min of a plunger having a diameter of 30mm. That is, in the case of the bending strength less than 0.5, when a cake etc. contracts after it swells, the lid descend as the cake contracts, while said lid itself being attached to the cake, making it difficult for the lid to be separated from the cake; on the other hand, with a bending stress in excess of 2kg, when a cake etc. swells by heat cooking, said cake can not raise a lid upward because of a lack in flexibility, causing said cake to swell over to the outside through the gaps of the lid, so that a cake of a desirable shape is not obtained.</p> |
