<p>All round coating by passing the fingers or rolls along two parallel level toothed rails, using a lifter bar between which also has teeth in phase with those on the rails. The lifter raises each finger clear of the rails, moves on and then lowers it onto the receiver ramp in the next tooth recess of the sawtooth pattern forming the rail serration. These ramps allow the finger to slide down and thus present the next sector of its surface for coating by one of several coating curtains provided along the process line. The Transporter or lifter bar is carried at two eccentric points to provide the lifting and transporting movements at various parts of its circular trajectory. Even coating, all round, without drips or foot formation, as well as gentle handling it obtained.</p> |
