<p>Press tape for the assembly of two pieces of fabric, e.g., the edges of a garment, consisting of two tapes, pref. flexible plastic material, each designed to be stitched along one edge, and provided with male and female rails respectively, enabling one to be bonded to the other by pressure. The rail in each tape is bordered laterally by two margings, pierced by regularly spaced holes. Each tape is stitched to the corresponding edge of the garment by means of sewing thread parallel to the rails and passing through the holes in the margins.</p> |
