PURPOSE:To control strength of ending part in a proper draft area without requiring skill, by widening a piling part, rolling roving yarn from its one side in a spiral way and carrying out ending. CONSTITUTION:End parts of two slivers to be ended are piled by proper length, inserted into an opening 11, fixed to tip parts of plural needle parts 8 and the piling part of the sliver is transferred in the guide channel 12. The widened part of the piled part enlarged by widening action between the needles 8 is wound in a spiral way by raising, winding action of protrusions 10a of a wheel 10. The needles 8 are rotated in the reverse direction, the sliver is returned to the bottom of the opening 11, raised and taken out. |
