The invention relates to a cardboard box of the shoe box type with four glued corners, constituted by a rectangular bottom 1 surrounded by large sides 2 and small sides 3 connected to each other by bellows folds 4; these bellows folds 4 are constituted by two flaps 5 and 6 separated by a groove 11 by means of which they may be folded and glued one against the other and on the large sides 2. According to the invention, the flap 5, adjacent to the large side 2, comprises a tab 12 which extends greatly into the other flap 6; this tab 12 and the flap 5 receive a strip of glue 13 intended to produce the pre-assembly of the blank, that is to say the folding of the small sides 3 on the bottom 1 and of the bellows folds 4 on the large sides 2. <IMAGE>
