PURPOSE:To automatically adjust a sound volume when a vehicle is in travel and at rest by providing an operating means which is operated corresponding to a wind pressure other than a means which adjusts the sound volume of a speaker mounted on the vehicle, and adjusting the sound insulation of a sound generated by the speaker. CONSTITUTION:A sound volume adjusting means 1 is provided at the front of a speaker 5 mounted at the vehicle to which the output level is adjusted with a sound volume adjuster. The sound volume adjusting means 1 consists of a cover 8, a wind receiving plate 2, and a sound insulation plate 6 which increases/decreases an opening interlocking with the wind receiving plate 2 and an arm 3. When the vehicle is at rest, an angle (alpha) between the wind receiving plate 2 and the cover 8 is reduced and the opening part 8d of the cover 8 is closed by being energized with a spring. When the vehicle is in travel, the angle (alpha) is increased corresponding to the speed of the vehicle, and elements 6a-6d at the sound insulation plate 6 are opened by interlocking with the lever 3, then opening the opening part 8d, and the sound insulation volume is adjusted with the sound insulation plate 6. The level of the sound volume adjusting apparatus is set so as to keep the sound volume at the optimum level when the vehicle is at rest. Thereby, the optimum level can be maintained when the vehicle is in travel and also at rest, and a device is recommended for a motor-bicycle. |
