PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy and reliability of control function for the opening and closing of a throttle valve by correcting a target step position according to discrepancy in the relative position of the step position of a step motor to drive a throttle valve to the opening of the throttle valve, when the said discrepancy has occurred. CONSTITUTION:The above mentioned device has a computing means M7 to compute the target step position of a step motor M2 for opening and closing a throttle valve on an output from a detecting means for the state of engine operation M6, such as the pedaled quantity of an accel pedal M4 etc., and a driving means M8 controls the step motor M2 according to deviation between the target step position and a step position read into a memory M3. In this case, when a reference opening detecting means M9 has detected the reference opening of a throttle valve M1, a computing means 10 decides deviation between the reference step position of the step motor M2 at that time and the step position read into the memory M3, and then a correcting means M1 corrects the target step position on the said deviation. |
