PURPOSE:To cope quickly with a partial delay of a working program by providing a knowledge base where the degree of the working delay is evaluated and its desired countermeasure is described and a reasoning mechanism which reasons said knowledge base. CONSTITUTION:A knowledge base 4 contains a means 4a which stores a group of rules that evaluate the degree of delay in the actual progress state of a working program and describe its desired countermeasure and a means 4b which stores the information on the actual working progress state. Thus the information on the working progress state supplied from an input part 1 through a man-machine interface 2 is stored in the means 4b. A reasoning mechanism 3 applies sequentially the information on the base 4 given from both means 4a and 4b to perform the reasoning and outputs the obtained result (desired countermeasure) to an output part 5. In such a way, a quick and proper countermeasure is indicated. |
