<p>A metal precipitation process for the recovery of precious metals from a solution and, more particularly, for the recovery of silver from a spent photographic solution. The process uses a recovery cell filled with magnesium particulate and the solution is introduced so as to flow through the particulate. Water may be used to keep the reaction and, hence, the production of hydrogen gas under control. The recovery cell is removeable after the magnesium particulate is exhausted.</p> |
