PURPOSE:To restrict an unnecessary copying by permitting copies whose number is equal to the number set preliminarily to an incorporated card to obtain if a password number inputted with a password number input key is correct. CONSTITUTION:When a card 1 is inserted to an insertion part 4 and the key K of an operation part 6 is operated to input the password number and required operation is performed, the number set to an IC chip of the card is read by a reader 8, and an output 11 is outputted and is given to a control part 7 and a copying part 9 if the read number is not zero. The inputted password number is checked by the control part 7; and if the password number is correct and the output 11 is outputted, copying is performed one by one or continuously by operating the operation part 6. At every time copying, a pulse is generated from a signal generator 10 to subtract one from the numerical value in the IC chip 2, and the allowable number of copied is always updated and recorded on the card 1. Thus, the unnecessary copying is restricted. |
