<p>The disclosed commutator for electric machines comprises segments (1) sunk into an insulating body (15) so as to have an improved resistance to pulling and to centrifugal forces. The bearing bush (8) of the commutator, also embedded into the insulating body (15) is a one piece part with a flange (10) acting as an armour ring with its edge (14). The flange (10) and the edge (14) extend about a front projection (5) of the segments at a uniform distance from the projection thereby forming a space filled with the material of the insulating body, respectively penetrating into a groove (4) provided at the front end (3) of the segments. Additional anchoring means (11) are formed on the bearing bush (8) in its portion situated in the region of higher material concentration of the insulating body (15).</p> |
