It comprises a safety lamp 130, an array of accumulators 11 for powering the safety lamp 130, a circuit 12 for charging the array of accumulators 11 connected to a supply 2, and a unit managing device 15 which controls an actuated switch 14 which connects the safety lamp and closes it when the normal supply 2 disappears, provision also having been made for a test device 3 which comprises a timer counter 30 which can be triggered, which is blocked in the event of opening of the switch 14, a simulation circuit 36 and a supply switch. It is of use for maintaining illumination in the event of breakdown.
