<p>The process consists of (a) taking up the garments on a conveyor belt which takes them to a first station of mechanical or electrical cutting, assisted by a suction head to remove the cut material; (b) the cut garments pass to a first sewing head and immediately to a second cutting station with a second suction head; (c) a second sewing head produces a covering seam over the main seam; (d) the surplus chain-stitch is cut off by a third cutting station; (e) both seams are welded over in a thermofusion stage; and (f) a sock turning device performs the turning phase.</p> |
