PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a device by constituting the device so that the 2nd and the 3rd holographic optical elements compensate aberrations of the 1st holographic optical element and an image displayed on a display screen is transferred to the 1st holographic optical element. CONSTITUTION:Light beams in a narrow wavelength range which is projected from the display screen 2 are reflected by the 2nd holographic optical element 8 and reflected by the 3rd holographic optical element 9 to be made incident on the element 8 again. The light beams incident on the element 8 pass through the element 8 and are made incident on the 1st holographic optical element 6. The elements 8 and 9 compensate the aberrations of the element 6 and transfers an image on the screen 2 to the element 6 optically and an observer views an excellent image on the screen 2. Thus, the constitution of the head-up display device is simplified and reduced in size. |
