PURPOSE:To transfer spatially independent fine particles at a supersonic speed by providing a controller for controlling the supply gas on the upstream side so that the pressure at the outflow port of a contracting and expanding nozzle provided to a flow passage is almost equalized with the pressure on the down stream side of the nozzle. CONSTITUTION:The contracting and expanding nozzle 1 is provided to the flow passage and the controller 2 for controlling the supply gas on the upstream side so that the pressure at the outflow port 1c of the contracting and expanding nozzle 1 is almost equalized with the pressure on the downstream side of the contracting and expanding nozzle 1 is furnished to constitute the unit for controlling the flow of fine particles. A carrier gas contg. dispersed fine particles is supplied into the upstream chamber 3, the inside of the downstream chamber 4 is evacuated by a vacuum pump 5, and the pressure difference is formed between the upstream chamber 3 and the downstream chamber 4. Consequently, the supplied carrier gas contg. fine particles is sent from the upstream chamber 3 to the downstream chamber 4 through the contracting and expanding nozzle 1. |
