PURPOSE:To obtain a good stereophonic presence for a stereo even when the distance between the listener and respective speakers positioned backward by approaching backward reproducing sounds based on a signal at the same time to a position of the listener by providing a variable delay means and positioning a sound image by the backward reproducing sound at just back position of the listener. CONSTITUTION:A variable delay means 17 for varying a delay time of a surround signal except for one of the surround signals supplied to plural back speakers 11, 12 is provided. A mixing means 7 for mixing left and right sound signals L and R supplied to left and right front speakers 5 and 6 and delay means 16, 17 for delaying the mixed sound signal obtained at the output side of the mixing means 7 by a prescribed time and supplying to the back speakers 11, 12 and making the surround signals are provided so that the surround signal of the mixed sound signal of the left and the right sound signals L and R with a predetermined time delay supplied to the plural back speakers 11, 12, and the stereophonic presence for the stereo in the reproducing sound field can be increased. |
