<p>Underwater painting machine which comprises a large brush for applying 1-2-3 the paint to the substrate which moves in a translational reciprocating manner, which interacts with a rotary smoothing brush 12 with an axis parallel to the direction of translation, characterized in that the application brush is formed by a plurality of tufts of bristles 1 supplied respectively at a point substantially located at the centre of the non-active end of the bristles, the paint being distributed radially and uniformly over each tuft around a central channel 11, being guided by capillary effect along the bristles as far as their active end, without the tufts being immersed in a chamber full of paint and passing via a grille.</p> |
