<p>Novel compounds of this invention are tetrazole, acylhydroxylamine, hydroxymethylketone and amide derivatives of unsaturated fatty acids which are selective inhibitors of the enzymes lipoxygenase and cyclooxygenase involved in the production of pain, inflammation, bronchoconstriction and allergic reactions. These compounds are beneficial in the treatment of a number of inflammatory and/or painful conditions and allergic reactions.</p> |
