New penicillin acylamine antibiotics with the general formula I are synthesized and a method is given for the preparation thereof. <IMAGE> in which R has the following structure <IMAGE> in which R3 is hydrogen, lower alkyl residue, lower alkoxycarbonyl residue or phenyl residue; R4, R5, R6 designate hydrogen, lower alkyl residue, halogen, or lower alkoxyl residue; A is oxygen or lower alkyl N residue; n takes the value 0 or 1; R1 is hydrogen or hydroxyl group and R2 is hydrogen, alkaline metal or carboxy protecting group. These antibiotics have high antimicrobial activity against Gram-positive and Gram-negative microorganisms.
