<p>The lenticular optical cone has two conical surfaces, one concave and the other convex. The cone sidewalls are of different thicknesses, being thinner close to the vertex of the cone and increasing up to maximum thickness in the cone base, or vice versa. The cone can be combined with other cones to form optical objectives i.e. a convergent lenticular optical cone followed by a divergent conical lens which projects parallel rays along the focal axis.</p> |
