PURPOSE:To obtain a photosensitive compsn. having high sensitivity and being useful as photoresist, presensitized plate, or proof material, etc., by using a specified 2,4,5-triphenylimidazole dimer as photooxidizer in a specified photosensitive composition. CONSTITUTION:In a photosensitive compsn. constituted of a fixing layer comprising a fixing agent and binder, and a color developing layer comprising an oxidizable dye as a color developing material, photooxidizing agent, and binder, 2,4,5- triphenylimidazole dimer expressed by the formula I is used as the photooxidizing agent. In the formula, A is a piperonyl group, phenyl group, or formula II; R1-R5 are H, lower alkyl, lower alkoxy, F, Cl, or Br. Preferred compsn. of the photosensitive compsn. is a light emitting layer consisting of 1pt.wt. color developing agent, 0.1-10pts.wt. photooxidizing agent, 0.1-2pts.wt. acid as color developing auxiliary, 0.5-10pts.wt. polyethers also as the color developing auxiliary, and 1-50pts.wt. binder and a fixing layer consisting of 0.3-50pts.wt. fixing agent and 1-50pts.wt. binder. |
