PURPOSE:To simplify the structure of the title apparatus and to facilitate the manufacturing and assembling thereof while making it possible to accurately adjust the interval between a platen and a printing head, by revolving the adjustment member on a rear stay to hook an eccentric arm with the hooking recessed part of a connection plate and holding the connection plate at a desired height. CONSTITUTION:For example, when printing is performed to a thick printing medium, eccentric arms 42, 43 are held to revolve an adjustment member 40 in the counterclockwise direction against a spring 44 and the hooking parts 42b, 43b of the eccentric arms 42, 43 are engaged with the hooking recessed part 33a or 33b among three hooking recessed parts 33 of a connection plate 30. Whereupon, the height position of the leading end 31a of the connection plate 30 ridden on the adjustment part 41 of the member 40 approaches a rear stay 32 and a carriage 21 revolves around a front shaft 22 in a clockwise direction in this state and the printing interval between a platen 20 and a printing head 23 can be enlarged. |
