摘要
EP--96309 A Process for removing volatile components from a liq. consists of heating the liq., in the absence of a stripping gas, under pressure and temp. conditions such that no vaporisation of the volatile components occurs. The liq. is then passed continuously through a restrictive orifice flow path and then directly into an elongated narrow confined passage. - The narrow passage has a high ratio of surface area to volume of fluid flow and a predetermined configuration which creates turbulence in the liq. such that the volatile components vaporise in a flashing action as liq. passes from the restrictive orifice to the passage. - The vaporised components move through the passage as a high velocity vapour continuum, carrying the liq. as atomised droplets, which is then treated in a liq. vapour separator. - Evapn. stripping is partic. effective for heat sensitive compounds since the liq. is exposed to the heating medium for a minimal time and immediately flows into the stripping section where the added heat is quickly converted to latent heat of vaporisation. No stripping gas such as stream is required and heat does not have to be applied to the stripping section. (44pp Dwg.No.0/5) - EP--96309 B Process for reoving volatile components from a liquid product, comprising heating the liquid product in the absence of a stripping gas while maintaining the pressure and temperature of the liquid product at predetermined levels to prevent any vaporisation of the volatile components from occurring during the heating of the liquid material, whereafter the liquid product is continuously passed directly through a flow path forming restrictive orifice and immediately thereafter flashed directly into a relatively elongated, narrow confined passage having a high ratio of surface area to volume of fluid flow and a predeterined configuration to impart a turbulent flow to the liquid material, maintaining the pressure and velocity conditions of the liquid product flow within said passage, continuing to pass the liquid product and vaporised volatile components now contained therein a hoogeneous mixture in turbulent flow through said passage, and passing the thus obtained vapour continuum-liquid droplet flow into a liquid-vapour separator. (19pp) USAB- US4511431 A Volatile components are removed from a liquid by heating while preventing vapourisation of volatiles, passing the liquid through an orifice and then into a relatively elongate narrow passage having a high surface area and which creates turbulence. The conditions in the passage cause instantaneous vapourisation of the volatiles as the liquid enters the passage.
