The present invention relates to a novel device for positioning wire-mesh plates for the purpose of forming a regular stack of the said plates, which plates are previously arranged in pairs by virtue of a turning device comprising a central beam securely fastened to two lateral rollers equipped with hooks, grasping the longitudinal wires so as to turn the panels over, the said device being characterised in that it is composed of at least one assembly formed by a finger of suitable length and diameter freely sliding, under the influence of its weight, in a ring connected to the said beam. <IMAGE>
