Device for sheltering vehicles, boats, caravans, motor bikes, trailers or any other equipment without requiring a fixed shelter. The invention relates to a device which is identical to a window blind and which does not require any construction with a securing assembly. This system consists of a rectangular box 1 in which a cylinder is located over the whole length 2 around which an awning 3 is rolled. A device at the end of the cylinder comprises a rack pinion with spring. A projection with a small brush 6 above it allows the passage of the awning, ending in three hooks 7, and, at the centre, a cord 8 enables the awning to be unrolled and the vehicle to be covered, for example at the bottom of the bumper, by means of hooks. This system may be fixed against a wall by means of dowels. Another system enables it to be fitted to a portal frame 9. A third system enables it to be fitted in the boot of a car. <IMAGE>
