Device for fastening overhead lines, in particular power cables, on an insulator, having a jumper formed by at least two helical wires, which are bent together approximately in the centre into an inlet and form two legs, the cables being laid between the helical legs thus formed and the inlet region being smooth and twist-free. The object of the invention is to provide a device in which the use of a connecting element previously always used for the installation of overhead lines is superfluous, which is achieved by being possible for the wires or stranded wires (4) of the jumper (1) to be divided into two groups in the region of the inlet (2) and by there being provided a pin (8) with at least one holding element (9, 10), which pin interacts with the insulator (6) and can be introduced into the jumper (1).
