An electromagnetic coupling is proposed which can be mounted on and removed from a conical shaft butt end of a machine (21). In order to mount or remove the coupling, an axial clamping screw (23) is provided which is supported on a collar (26) of the hub (16) when the coupling is put onto the shaft butt end (20). In order to remove the coupling, axial displacement limitation of the axial clamping screw is achieved by means of an additional Seeger circlip ring (29) or the like. The flange (27) can be secured here by means of open-draw spanners or the like. <IMAGE>
