Anvil-type cutters having a cutter lever which is composed of a first handle piece (10) and a blade (14) which is mounted by means of a bush (12) and having a base lever which is composed of a second handle piece (20), an anvil (22) and a leaf spring (24) which is fastened in the second handle piece (20) and engages behind the blade (14) when the cutters are mounted, characterised by an adjusting screw (30) which is guided in a threaded bore (16) of the first handle piece (10), acts on that section of the blade (14) which forms the extension of the cutting edge (18) on the other side of the bush (12) and permits adjustment of the angle between the first handle piece (10) and the blade (14). <IMAGE>
