<p>Liquid contg. a precursor cpd. which decomposes with heat into an adherent reaction product is sprayed in droplets of a fineness of 1-1000 mu on to a substrate maintained at the necessary temp. in vacuo or in a compatible gaseous atmosphere for long enough to form the required coating. Specif. the dispersed phase may comprise a soln. of the precursor cpd. in a solvent compatible with the decomposition reaction.</p> |
