The one end of the handgrip is pivotably connected to the end (13) of the bar (11) nearest the aperture. The handgrip is releasably located in the column aperture (23) by a link (24). The opposing ends of the link are pivotably connected to the handgrip and at least one lug (26) central to the aperture (23) on the inner surface of the column wall. The handgrip end (17) is connected to the bar end (13) by a bearing pin which can be inserted and removed in and from a corresp. aperture (18,19) in the handgrip and bar ends via a hole in the platform column wall. The end of the link (24) pivotably connected to the lug (26) is releasable from it for removal of the handgrip after the latter has been freed from the bar end (13), for pivoting the link (24) to a position outside its normal work movement area. |
