A drive arrangement for a conveying device is proposed, which arrangement has a drive shaft (10) with two drive units (24, 26) which can be mounted in a freely rotatable fashion. In order optionally to couple one of the slipped-on gear mechanisms, which each have a hollow shaft (28, 30), to the drive shaft, frictional engagement between the hollow shaft (28, 30) of one of the slipped-on gear mechanisms and the drive shaft (10) is effected by means of a shrink disc (44) and a sleeve (46). <IMAGE>
