PURPOSE:To attain the design of a magnetic head excellent in floating stability by applying a voltage to a conductive head and a conductive disc so that the voltage is zero V through electric conduction when both contact to detect the voltage. CONSTITUTION:The conductive head 8 is held to a gimbal spring 9, the spring 9 is fixed to an arm 10 via an insulator 11 and the conductive head 10 and the arm 10 are insulated. A rotating body 13 on the base 14 turns the conductive disc 12. An exciting source 16 and a carriage 15 are provided additionally. A voltage E0 is applied between the conductive head 8 and the disc 12 and when both contact together, the voltage is zero V. This is detected at detecting terminals CH1, CH2 to detect the presence of contact, contact time or interval on an oscilloscope. Thus, the design of the magentic head system with excellent floating stability is attained. |
