1339927 N -1 - alkenyl - N - alkylcarbamoyloxyphenyl urea derivatives BADISCHE ANILIN- & SODA-FABRIK AG 10 May 1971 [11 May 1970] 13962/71 Heading C2C The invention comprises compounds of the formula wherein R<SP>1</SP> represents H, CH 3 or OCH 3 , R<SP>2</SP> represents C 1 to C 6 alkyl, R<SP>3</SP>, R<SP>4</SP> and R<SP>5</SP> each represent H or C 1 to C 6 alkyl and X is O or S. They may be obtained by reacting the appropriate m-hydroxyphenylureas with N-1-alkenyl- N-alkylcarbamoyl chlorides in the presence of a tertiary nitrogen base. Examples are given for the production of the compounds. They are useful as herbicides, particularly for the control of unwanted plants in the presence of crops. Examples are given in which compositions are prepared and tested. |
