A rotary magnetic-drive device having a high torque transmitting efficiency, causing little temperature elevation of treated fluids and exhibiting improved mechanical strength and thermal shock resistance has a chamber formed by combining a front casing 11 with a rear casing to accommodate a rotor 3 supporting a driven magnet 6. The rear casing has a cylindrical partition 12 closed at one end by a bottom portion and provided with a flange portion on the other end. The partition has a thickness of 1.5-8 mm and consists of a ceramic material having a specific resistance of at least 10<3> OMEGA -cm. A driving magnet 8 arranged outside the partition is magnetically coupled with the driven magnet through the partition.
