A winning machine 1 working underground, for example for the shearing of coal. The winning machine 1 is equipped with a conveying device which receives the broken material at the face and delivers it to a conveying system 18 connected on the output side of the winning machine 1. Arranged in between the winning machine 1 and the conveying system 18 separately from the winning machine is a crusher unit 2 which is movable on a chassis, in particular designed with crawlers 27, and has an independent travel drive. The crusher unit 2, on a frame 25, has a feeding chute 11, a conveyor 12 which starts from the latter and whose discharge end extends beyond the frame, and at least one crushing roll 13 in the region between chute 11 and discharge end 15 of the conveyor 12. On the frame 25, in the region of its front part adjacent to the winning machine, at least one roof-bolt drilling and setting device is arranged so as to be displaceable in the advance direction and transversely to the latter. Since the crusher unit 2 is arranged separately from the winning machine 1, the winning machine 1 can be moved, while the crusher unit 2 remains on the spot.
