PURPOSE:To enable the sufficient lubrication for a large end bearing by branching the other end of the lubricating oil passage inside a crankshaft communicating with a large end bearing into three branches so as to be opened at a specified central angle to the oiling groove formed in the circumferential direction on the division part on one side of a journal bearing. CONSTITUTION:The bearing 10a, 10b of the crankshaft journal part 3 is divided into two parts, and on one side of them a circumferential oiling groove 11 communicating with a lubricating oil passage 12 inside a crank case 5 is formed. In the interior of a crankshaft 2, a lubricating oil passage 14 communicating with the large end bearing 16 of a connecting rod is formed, and the other end is communicated with the oiling groove 11 via branched lubricating oil passages 13 divided into three branches. The branched lubricating oil passages 13 are opened at a central angle of less than 180 deg., and whatever angle the crankshaft may take, at least one of the branched lubricating oil passages 13 communicates without fail with the oiling groove 11, enabling the continuous supply of lubricating oil to the large end bearing.
