Novel ring-brominated derivatives of the diepoxides of tetraalkyl dihydroxydiaromatic compounds, e.g., the diglycidyl ether of 3,5-dibromo-4-(2-(2-bromo-4-hydroxy-3,5-dimethylphenyl)ethyl)-2,6-dime thylphenol.
