PURPOSE:To form a cyan color image having no turbidity in the color phase as well as to activate heat development by using a specified coupler as a dye providing substance together with photosensitive silver halide and a reducing agent on a support. CONSTITUTION:This heat developable photosensitive material has a compound represented by the formula together with photosensitive silver halide and a reducing agent on the support. In the formula, R1 is an optionally substituted aliphatic, aromatic, heterocyclic, aromatic amino or heterocyclic amino group, R2 is H, acylamino or an optionally substituted aliphatic group, X is H, halogen, an aliphatic or aromatic group or acylamino, Z is H or a group eliminable by oxidation coupling with a developing agent, R2 and X may bond to each other to form a 5-7-membered ring, and a polymer coupler higher than a dimer may be formed through R1, R2, X or Z. The compound represented by the formula is a superior cyan dye providing compound and gives a fine cyan dye image by coupling with the oxidized product of a developing agent. |
