PURPOSE:To prevent a printing dot part from becoming sunken and simplify a manufacturing process, by a construction wherein an end face of at least one of a signal electrode and a common electrode is opposed to an end face of an insulating layer, with a resistor layer interposed therebetween. CONSTITUTION:After a heat-accumulating layer 2 which is a glaze layer is provided on a substrate 1, an insulating layer 8 is provided on the heat- accumulating layer and the substrate 1 except a part on the side of one end of the heat-accumulating layer 2 so that an end part of the insulating layer 8 forms a step. Next, a resistor 3 is provided on the insulating layer 8, the heat-accumulating layer 2 and the substrate 1. Then, a signal electrode 4 and a common electrode 5 are simultaneously provided so that the upper surface of the common electrode 5 on the side for facing the signal electrode 4 is located at a height equal to or slightly lower than the height of the upper surface of the resistor 3 on the insulating layer 8 and that an end face of the common electrode 5 is opposed to an end face of the insulating layer 8, with the layer of the resistor 3 interposed therebetween. |
