PURPOSE:To enable the security of a fixed stable print quality, by a method wherein the ink jetted from a jet means is adhered to an intermediate carrier and the ink is evaporated to be condensed, and thereafter, the intermediate carrier is pressed onto a recording medium and the transfer is carried out. CONSTITUTION:The drum 7, the outer skin of which is an intermediate carrier 2, is rotated. The water-color ink consisting of 10% glycerol, 2% dye, and remainder water is jetted from an ink jet head 1 and an ink drop is adhered onto the intermediate carrier 2. When this ink drop deposits on the intermediate carrier 2, it starts to be evaporated and is promoted in evaporation to condensation with a heater 8. The reduced ink is pressed onto the recording medium 10 supported by a lower roller 21 to be transferred. Thereafter, the remainder deposit ink is washed away by water with a brush 9 and dried with a blower 40. Thus, the spreading of ink becomes almost constant regardless of the type of recording media and a stable recording quality can be obtained. |
