1356659 Paint tin attachments W H WARD 2 June 1971 [2 June 1970] 18520/71 Heading B8D A plastics attachment 1 for coupling to the rim of a paint tin to prevent fouling thereof comprises a peripheral bead 9 adapted to sealingly engage the rim and defining an aperture 6, an upwardly and outwardly flared wall 3 terminating in a pouring lip 8, and a transverselyextending wall directed inwardly from the base of the wall 3 to overlie a segment of the aperture and form a brush rest. The edge 5 of the wall functions as a brush wiper. The bead 9 may be shaped to engage within the rim. The attachment may be split to accommodate slight variations in rim size. |
