PURPOSE:To obtain a VTR set with small size, light weight and compact structure by providing a tape reel base drive motor, a tape running drive mechanism such as a structure and a capstan motor is addition to a head turning motor and a turning mechanism onto a video head turning center line of a drum. CONSTITUTION:A structure restricting the tape running attitude is provided even to a tape running side face of an upper drum 2 to make the tape running more complete so as to improve the contact between heads 8, 8' and a tape face thereby improving the VTR performance. Since a reel drive motor and a capstan drive motor are arranged on a video head turning supporting shaft 1, the VTR with small size and compact dimension where a flat area is reduced remarkably is realized. Since the shaft 1 is used for three motors in common and the stator mount base is used in common for the drum, then number of components is decreased and the assembling with high accuracy is facilitated. |
