PURPOSE:To form a magenta dye image having sufficiently high density even when a small amount of a magenta coupler is used, by holding photosensitive silver halide, a reducing agent and a specified two-equiv. magenta coupler on a support. CONSTITUTION:This heat developable color photosensitive material has photosensitive silver halide, a reducing agent and a two-equiv. magenta coupler represented by formula I on the support. In the formula, W is phenyl having at least one halogen, alkyl, alkoxy, alkoxycarbonyl or cyano as a substituent, Y is acylamino or anilino and Z is a group eliminable by coupling. The coupler represented by the formula I is preferably used by 5X10<-2>-5X10<-1>mol per 1mol silver halide coexisting with the coupler in the same layer. |
