PURPOSE:To change a meter without cutting off the gas feeding and without leakage by inserting a medium pipe and fine pipe from the main body of a gas meter changing device to the original piping and by inflating the gas bag. CONSTITUTION:The main body 1 of meter changing is connected to the branch port of the cheese 17 of rising pipes 15, 15a inside a lamp and gas is fed from the gas bomb not shown in the figure. The gas at the original piping 15 side is cut off by inserting the medium pipe 5 and fine pipe 8 inside the main body 1 in this state and by inflating a gas bag 6 at the tip. By closing the cock not shown in the figure of the rising pipes 15, 15a in this state, the change of a meter can be performed without cutting off the pipe 8 by opening the cock after changing the meter, the air inside the piping at the meter changing time can be purged with continuing the gas feeding. After completion of the gas purge, the meter change is made possible with continuing the gas feeding without blowing off the gas by removing the main body 1 by deflating the gas bag 6 of the medium pipe 5. |
